Barriers to Higher Education for Women in Southern Sudan

This report summarises the findings from a qualitative study of the situation of higher education in Southern Sudan, and takes a bottom up perspective on barriers women face in access to higher education and possible constraints they meet while undertaking higher education.

The CSRF, hosted by Saferworld and swisspeace, was established in 2016 to support the aid sector in South Sudan to be more conflict-sensitive. We provide analysis, convene discussions, share learning, and support capacities to strengthen positive contributions to peace and reduce the risks of unintended harm. Together we are building a movement for better aid in South Sudan.
