Land, Security and Peace Building in the Southern Sudan

This report discussess different aspects of violence and insecurity in Southern Sudan, focusing on local violence and current measures to address these challenges. In addition it presents some issues related to land and natural resource management and suggests some linkages between these issues and the growing local insecurity.

The CSRF, hosted by Saferworld and swisspeace, was established in 2016 to support the aid sector in South Sudan to be more conflict-sensitive. We provide analysis, convene discussions, share learning, and support capacities to strengthen positive contributions to peace and reduce the risks of unintended harm. Together we are building a movement for better aid in South Sudan.
