South Sudan Within a New Sudan

This report summarizes a two-day policy advisory group seminar on 20 and 21 April 2006 in Franschhoek, South Africa. The objective of this meeting was to assess the signing of the CPA. The seminar sought to devise policy recommendations on how South Sudan can use the opportunity of the signing of the CPA to promote peace.

The CSRF, hosted by Saferworld and swisspeace, was established in 2016 to support the aid sector in South Sudan to be more conflict-sensitive. We provide analysis, convene discussions, share learning, and support capacities to strengthen positive contributions to peace and reduce the risks of unintended harm. Together we are building a movement for better aid in South Sudan.
